My Personal Mission and Training Philosophy

My mission as your personal trainer is to provide you with specific programs that are easy to follow and focused on goals that you set.  I will educate you on how to exercise diet and maintain a healthy lifestyle, while empowering you to achieve your best.

 My training philosophy is to gently push you beyond what you think your physical limits are, using motivation, encouragement and education.  I will help you find the drive and determination needed to meet your own goals.

A Little Bit About Me:

I have over 14 years of Certified Personal Training experience- 10 of which I was a Master Fitness Trainer in the U.S. Army.  I am also certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the Titleist Performance Institute.  Today, my clients are male and female, aged 14 to 80.  I work hard to stay current on the latest techniques of training; attending the NASM Corrective Exercise Science Course and seeking an MS Degree from Cal U in Rehabilitation Science.  These things, combined with my age and experience at competing in Power Lifting, Cycling and Running allow me to bring a great deal of knowledge to each client.

It doesn’t matter- I can help you achieve better performance.  While the human body is an amazing machine, we all suffer from muscle imbalances caused by accidents or injuries, whether we realize it or not.  These imbalances will affect your golf and work performance.  I will work hard to help you overcome these problems so you can play the best game of your life!

Are you new to fitness or trying to improve your current performance? I will provide you with a very comprehensive evaluation to determine what physical limitations you have.  Then I will assist you in determining and setting realistic goals.  Once your evaluation is complete, I will provide you with a comprehensive personal training program that’s easy to follow, efficient and effective.

Do you need to update or reinvigorate your current training routine?  I can help you get past plateaus and start making progress again.

Do you hate to exercise?  You’ll find a personal training experience that is not only enjoyable, but you’ll learn something in the process!

Don’t have enough time to work out?  I’ll help you find ways to fit exercise into your life, with flexible scheduling, in-home training, and travel workouts.

Do you have special needs?  I work with de-conditioned older adults, post-rehab clients, chronic pain sufferers, and other clients with multiple health challenges.

Every individual is capable of attaining their optimum physical condition, if made aware of their potential and how to achieve it.  As a personal trainer, I’ve seen clients from ages 14 to 80 accomplish things they never thought possible!  We don’t all have the genetics of a supermodel or star athlete, but everyone can improve on what they have and reach their full potential.

be tough.  However, I promise you will get through them.  My  job is to help you find it in yourself to make it to and through  each workout.
